  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

A sad day...have to get rid of Genny so that I am able to purchase a home in August. Hate to have to do it but the car payment just doesn't make sense with a monthly mortgage. Getting a **free** 2003 Lexus ES to drive in the meantime from my parents.

Hopefully one day in the future I will be able to comfortably afford a Genny again.

It was great btw getting to be a part of this forum too!

Cheers,
Staz!

You mean you are leaving before you make "Senior Member"?

Be assured that the day will come when you can drive another Genesis.
Cars are great but, family and a place to call your own come first!
I’m glad that you have the intelligence to know what you can afford and what you can’t.
All of us have to make hard choices in our lives.
There’s a saying that my father use to tell me that is still true today.
“A man does what he has to do. A boy does what he wants to do and that’s why some boys never become men”.

Very true quote!

Good luck to you. You are making the right decision. Plenty of time to have the Genny later and we will welcome you back. Bought my first house at 25, got married at 26. Now 45 and have been married for 19 years, own two houses, 2011 Genny 4.6, 2011 Venza and 1972 Olds 442. Buying the first house was the starting point for all of this.

Family and health always comes first.

Good luck with the house.

Smart move and good luck!

make sure to get some limo tint so no one can see you. I'd rather die than drive a front wheel drive camry with Lexus badges on it.
