If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. First impressions:

very nice and aggressive stance
The drop is about 1.5" front and 1.0" rear. I only have 110 miles on them so I think they may settle in a little bit more.

If you have ever slept in a bed that has nice sheets say 300 thread count, and then slipped into a bed that has a sheet count that are 1300 thread count this is kinda like the experience with the lowering springs.

I have always liked the way the Genesis handled. Firm, sporty, secure albeit my '09 was the " bouncy suspension" that most folks didn't care for. I didn't mind, but it bounced like a pickup sometimes over rough roads...

Briefly: the suspension components in the Genesis are very solid and I would dare to say bullet proof. Forged aluminum components keep this light weight and agile.

The ride with the springs is smooth as silk. I think because they are progressive it makes the small deviations and bumps IE manhole covers, pot holes disappear. The springs are firmer and cornering feels more confident and car better balanced and planted. I'll post more after I test these for a couple months or so. I'll put up accurate numbers of the actual drop front/back but you can see it looks pretty sweet!!

I am using stock 18" rims with 245/45/18 tires

Sub'd. But after having a lowered car for years...not really interested in another.

I was shocked at the improvement of handling and ride with the springs. My experience with lowered cars has been 5mph over bumps and dips with diagonals into parking lots - not so much so with these... yes, low, but the ride is so planted now it's a HUGE difference.

My best advice for your up coming purchase on your ride, drive both the 6 and the 8 back to back if you can. Im averaging 25.9 city/hwy in my 8 so that's not to evil. I decided o the 8 with the tech because of the lexicon, and the power/performance/ build. At any rate good luck with your decision!

Thanks. My decision will be the 8 with tech and premium. Loaded...no other way to have them IMHO.

I love the stance of your car (you should invest a little in wheel spacers ;)). I have decided that IF I lower the Genny (and that is a HUGE if), I will lower her on air.

actually I am considering spacers. I'm not sure how those work... I know the mechanics but I just dont have any experience with them.

spacers are simple! Its just a blank aluminium plate that has holes drilled in it to match your bolt pattern. 15MM front spacers and 20MM rear spacers should do you fine.

How to install spacers:

1) Take of wheel and tire
2) Slip spacer onto lugs
3) Install wheel and tire
4) Repeat steps 1-3 for every wheel/tire on vehicle

VIOLA! lol

My dad's Porsche came stock with spacers lol.

Spacers can be had for around $20 a pop I think.

EDIT: Check these out. You can see how some have their own lugs on them, that's because the OEM lugs might not be long enough.

not sure if they are gt-s or gt-f. I think they are GT-F, I'll try to find out for you for sure.

Either way they are a dramatic improvement in handling. Much better launch, more controlled, front end doesn't come up so high anymore. Car stays planted, small bumps seem more subtle. Silk on the FWY. You get road input but your kidneys don't get punched!

Re: ARK LOWERING Springs Review more pix

Here are some b4 and afters of the GT-F ARK Lowering springs.

HI,
Just got 2010 3.8 and like the car so far. I don't like the gap above the tires in well. Saw your post about springs. Ur car looks great and u say handles too. What is the pros/cons to just getting a taller tire on the 18's?

jgmav007,

thanks for the complement. I'm not sure about the v-6 suspension as I haven't driven one. I'm sure the components are the same just weights may be different with the motors and transmissions. i think the tires may have a slightly taller sidewall. IMO I think going with a larger rim, lowering, or installing a taller(sidewall) are personal preference. Each has their own positive's and negatives. You may get a little smoother ride with a taller sidewall, but you will give up a little torque which may affect gas mileage depending on your driving habits. It will also slightly skew the speedometer, so you will be going slightly faster than what is being indicated.

welcome to the group some great folks here.

I would love to hear more info on these as well....?

I can say for sure the GT-F springs on a 2015 Genesis 5.0 V8 Sedan will drop your car minimum 1.5-1.75" with negative camber... NOT moderate 1" drop as advertised.

I just had GT-F installed on 2015 Genesis sedan 3.8 and not sure of the actual drop but they did produce negative 1.2 camber on driver side.
