  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So, I've had a few requests of the car as it is now - basically all blacked out. I haven't updated you guys on the final (still missing the body kit), so I took out the Nikon D7000, and with a Genesis 2.0T coupe (auto x focus) we sponsor, took some night photos.

Love to see it in daylight

Will be doing that after I get back from SEMA.

no offense but your pictures will turn out better in daylight.

Nice pics, and it looks sinister/menacing/etc. However I must ask, what's up with the hood? It looks like it's got tree sap all over it (I'm sure that's not the case, but tough to tell in the dark). I'm guessing it's carbon fiber, which is probably the look you're looking for (just not my cup of tea). I do however love the wheels! Dear R-Spec designers, put those wheels on it from the factory. Thanks!

It's carbon fiber. The hood and fenders were replaced with carbon.

can't wait to see day pictures after SEMA, especially the fender vents and grille...

@motersportsauthority Is the grille expected to go into production ever? I've been looking all over for something similar, but to no avail.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

the grille can be found here http://www.extremedimensions.com/12875.html

although its not carbon fiber, its the exact same thing from the same company (I believe so?). they also have alot of other aftermarket parts for the sedan. i might order some stuff soon

Yes! I cutout and laid the stock grill and did the work for them to replicate it. They finally have it up...That's great! They should have the spoiler I made also. The products I have in Carbon Fiber are one off's, and they had already told me it wouldn't be reproduced as Carbon.

Whoa, I can't believe I missed this thread! Car looks awesome! Great job! I'm usually against modding the car but I sure do appreciate yours.

Thanks for that, just what I'm looking for...Is the grile inside the bezel a plastic mesh or metal? Looks like plastic to me. Just wondering if it would stand up to the day to day driving of being hit with flying pebbles/stones?

The grille is metal mesh.

Once things settle down a little, I'll get some pictures up (got the Nikon D7000 back). Things have been incredibly busy after SEMA.
