  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am having a problem with the voice command volume. When I press the voice command button on the steering wheel, I can barely heard the audible. Is there a way to increase the volume?:

Welcome, Armondo.. There MUST be a way to change the volume.. On other cars I've driven, if I adjust the stereo volume while one of these voice prompts are "playing" - it adjusts the volume of the prompt itself - then once it's done speaking, the same knob adjusts the volume of the stereo.. Give it a shot... Maybe that'll do it...

Administrator is correct.

While the audible or voice command is talking, turn the volume knob to the level you want. You MUST do this while it is talking.

I had the same problem when I first picked up my Genesis, and set the Navi to my home. Could not hear "Jenny" giving me voice commands. Then while at a stop light, when I listened very very close, I could hear her talk. Next time she talked, I twisted the voice knob up, and voila, I could hear everything.

When voice commands stop talking, the radio volume (for the radio) goes back to the lever you had the radio set for in the first place, and the voice command will stay where you set it the last time you listened to the voice command.
