  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

1. In todays mail, I received a Hyundai Genesis Roadside Assistance Card. Nice touch. I've never had a problem on the road with the Genesis, and I've already taken two long trips with it, but I will keep the card handy, otherwise I'd have to thumb through the manuals to find the Roadside Assistance phone numbers if I ever needed it.

2. I also notice that they mention the ExperienceGenesis.com site and although I have not signed on to it, says that if I do sign on to it, I will get a "Full Range Of Online Benefits". Question is, has anyone from this group signed on to that website, and if so, WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Sadly, as I don't own mine yet, I can't take the plunge and say exactly.

I do know that a complete service history (anything done through the dealerships) is supposed to be part of it, but I'm not sure about anything else.

I'm curious to get the rundown myself!

That's good news, since they had to remove the window sticker with the roadside assistance number when they tinted my windows. Although I probably should program the number in all of my phones, it'll be nice to have the card in my wallet.

I signed on to the official web site quite some time ago. I am not aware of any benefits. Supposedly they will email you when you need your next oil change or service.

As mentioned by dataguy, the roadside service phone number is on a little sticker on the driver's side rear window.

Several people on this forum have tried to use the roadside assistance service (outsurced by Hyundai to another firm) and have had miserable results.

It is probably outsourced to the same firm that I used several years ago when I had a flat tire in my rental car (it was one of the majors, but don't remember which one), and it was useless. After waiting about 2 hours and calling back several times, I finally changed the tire myself.

I believe that the roadside assistance number is located somewhere in the owners manual packet included with the car, in case you removed the window sticker (like I did for my tint job). But don't count on them showing up.

Got mine yesterday. Between the Card and the plate they may have been able to focus there efforts on some of the more mechanical issues that people speak of. But, none the less a nice gesture.
