Precision Slim HID Conversion Kits

Hi, I'm Paul, from Diode Dynamics. We are known for our outstanding customer support, and the lowest prices on HIDs and LEDs anywhere online. I hope that I can be another great sponsor to this forum. I encourage you to check out our website at http://www.diodedynamics.com
This Precision HID conversion kit contains everything you need to convert your factory halogen headlamps into HID, High Intensity Discharge.

Manufacturer:
Precision Lighting Co. uses German lighting technology in production, and is one of the most reputable companies in HID. In operation since 1992, they have been creating the highest-quality and most cutting-edge kits for the last 7 years. You can be assured that these kits will work correctly every time you turn them on.

Ballast: Super-slim tecnology from Precision HID will fit in any application. They are the smallest you will find, about the size of a pack of playing cards. Included are the features of automatic reverse polarity protection, EMI circuit shielding, hot restrike protection, and is fully waterproof and shockproof. It has all of the speed and arc control accuracy that comes with the new digital technology, to ensure long bulb life.

Bulb: The bulbs included are produced by Precision HID, and are laser-aligned for easy alignment and installation, as well as long bulb life. The bulb temperatures are rated accurately in Kelvin temperature, and have an industry-standard 2500 hours of estimated bulb life, which should outlast your vehicle.

Warranty: Do not be fooled by overrated "lifetime" warranties from other manufacturers and distributors. The warranty is only as good as what the company actually replaces. Our warranty is through Diode Dynamics, LLC, so you can be assured that you will get fast and friendly service should you have any problems. In addition to the 1-year full warranty included with all of our products, your HID kit comes with a limited lifetime warranty. This lifetime warranty covers the ballasts and wiring for the lifetime of your HID kit.

Shipment: We carry our own inventory, so no waiting for them to be shipped from overseas, or waiting on big, unreliable suppliers to ship them. They ship right from our own inventory, in St. Louis, Missouri, usually the same day you order.

Kit comes with:
  • One pair HID bulbs in your choice of bulb size and color
  • Two 35w super-slim ballasts
  • Mounting hardware for ballasts
  • Limited Lifetime warranty on electronics (ballasts and wiring)

how would the relay harness works with the genesis sedan since the battery is located in the trunk?

There are pos and neg hookups under the hood, on the passenger side, next to the booster cable terminals.

just checked on shipping. Wow that is pretty expensive!! I wanted to buy the 6000k d1s replacement bulbs and H8 6000K hid with harness and one 31mm festoon 5w bulb. Shipping came out to be 17 bucks to California

I'm sorry, but these items are going to be around 7 pounds or so... that's a pretty reasonable rate? The calculations come right from the USPS and UPS websites. Speaking from the experience of shipping 10-20 packages every day, that really is a normal shipping rate.
Thanks!
Paul

Just placed an order for D1s 6000k replacement bulbs and H8 6000k hid kit and one festoon bulb. I choose express shipping but it showed up as priority shipping. I hope you ship it out express since I need this asap since my front bumper is off to get it repainted.

This is not important, it is a simple tab that needs to be changed in order to install standard H11 bulbs. I have plenty of customers who have done it both on the Coupe and the new Elantra.

Thanks!
Paul

I just ordered a kit for my fog lights yesterday. Hope all goes well:)

Thanks to Paul, I received a great HID kit for a good price and I'm very satisfied with the results. The 4300K match the fatctory HID's very well, which is what I wanted.

FYI, If you plan to convert the fog lights to HID's, then you will also need the relay in order for the ballasts to fire up.

I'm done spending hundreds of $ on kits now:D Please watch in HD/HQ (high quality)

Scott...that looks very nice!
How much did it cost?
Don't the relays come with the kit?

Was it hard to change?

thanks in advance

Thanks for the compliment:) The price currently listed is $80, but add $15 for the relay, which is seperate from the HID kit (just for the foglights, the headlights may not need them) and I have to be honest, I do really like how small the ballasts are in comparison to other HID kits I have installed. I used double sided 3M tape and mounted them right to the inside of the bumper.

I was lost with the install of the relay since I didn't realize that not every plug, or harness gets a spot to be plugged in when using the relay. In other words, you would have some connections not connected, which is the correct procedure for the install.

This video below was a huge help for me, and I was able to install the relay no problem with this help:

scottdk,

Thank you for responding to my questions...I really appreciate your feedback. I want the same look as yours so I will do it but don't know when.

Thanks again and nice job!

Regards,

Is this still a thing? Does anybody still have these or know anything about them?
Bringing this stuff back from the dead.

You should have left this thread buried. Bumping a thread that hasn't been active in 5 years is a big no-no. The kit is garbage, and is far from an OEM quality...not to mention that HID's should never be installed in a lens that does not have the correct optics for HID such as fog lights. The glare is brutal, and this is a performance downgrade and it reduces your distance vision and pisses off other drivers.
