  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just a few qwik pics of my R-Spec. Painted the grill and insert of the engine cover, added a rear deck lip (car id) and roof lip (rk sport). All parts painted to match, painter did a great job! Also added 10" rear and 8.5" wheels with Conti DW tires 275 rear and 245 front. I will take more pics next week.

Very Nice, not over done.

you should add more shots/angles on the wheels.

(ignore the source Q - wasn't bright enough to recognize that they were in the original post.)

Nice work and very tasteful:cool:

Is that a Pure or T5i lip spoiler you picked up from CarID?

Sweet mods...agree, tastefully done.

Can't wait to pick up my WSP rspec this summer.

Very nicely done. Subtle and not over done. Just a little concern with the carbon fiber overlay on the Adapatve cruise control pannels, will it still work?

I like the fact that even though you went to wider tires/rims on the rear, they are still tucked in nicley. Any issues with rubbing the inside on any of the wheels? Espically the fronts when turned fully?

There i nothing behind those panels, I thought the adaptive cruise is in the windshield. But, it does still work normally. Also, ive had zero rubbing front or rear. There is plenty of clearance, even did some sporty driving without issues. Not rubbing while at lock on the front.

Maybe I'm mistaken then. I thought that was where the doppler radar sensor for the adaptive cruise was located. If not, then it's a bit strange of a set up. Why have a flat pannel instead of a grill there?

so did the tire/wheel mods change the ride or handling substantially?

Ride (bumps) seems the same, the front tracks a little more with road imperfections. The car now can launch full throttle with limited if zero traction control kicking in. I think the sticky rubber has helped wheel spin. I did my home work when purchasing wheels / tires. Front tire is 2lbs less and rear is 1lb less than the stock R-Spec set up. Even with the 20" wheel set up

Where did you get the Caron Fiber panel from?

Oh, no, now I'm going to have to get the roof lip - looks awesome. Might have to paint my engine cover while I'm at it to. Your car looks very nice. Would love to see a shot of it from farther away so I can see how everything integrates together.

It's just a vinyl overlay.

Ok cool - did you you cut to fit or did you order it somewhere pre-cut. Link would be nice 😄 Thanks

Nothing pre cut, just had some extra pieces of 3M stuff laying around, while installing the grill I had the idea. Removing the panels is a pain. Held in place with 3 small philips screws from behind. I found it easier to remove it all while the grill was out of the car. Other option is remove the belly pan and go from under the car. Limited space this way. Once screws are removed, the panels can slide out the opening. Id love to find real carbon pieces for my car, we have limited aftermarket.
